Ayush Extracts is a herbal extract manufacturer in India that makes organic-certified and conventional extracts, including ethanolic extracts, for Ayurvedic, nutraceutical, food supplement and wellness brands. Our story starts in 1988, when the Sodhi brothers founded Ayush Herbs Inc. in Seattle, Washington.

Kangra was chosen on purpose. The region grows a wide range of medicinal plants and has a long link with Ayurveda, so much of what we process grows close to where we process it.

The Beginning

The Sodhi brothers founded Ayush Herbs Inc. in Seattle, Washington, USA.
1990
Coming Home to India

Jitender Sodhi began selling the company's Ayurvedic products in India after about ten years in FMCG companies.
1994
Our Own Facility

The group opened its manufacturing unit in Nagrota Bagwan, Kangra, close to the herbs it processes.
2022
Organic Certified

Our organic range gained NPOP, USDA-NOP and EU Organic certification, and now covers more than 34 herbs.

We test raw materials and extracts in our own lab and in third-party labs, using HPLC, GC-MS and UV-Visible spectrophotometry, for pesticides, heavy metals, ETO, microbes and residual solvents.

We export herbal extracts with the specifications, test reports, organic documents and packaging each market needs, and coordinate shipping with the buyer.
